In 2010, Wilmer started his career in the dynamic world of promotional gift customization. It was a high-pressure environment requiring meticulous attention to detail—managing everything from sourcing raw materials to overseeing complex printing processes for diverse product categories. Over the next five years, Wilmer expanded his expertise beyond general merchandise, diving deep into technical sectors including industrial manufacturing and mechanical equipment.
During these years as a sourcing agent, Wilmer noticed a recurring problem: Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) were being left behind. Factories often prioritized large orders, leaving startups and smaller buyers with limited options, poor service, or rejection due to Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) requirements.
Driven by a desire to change this status quo, Wilmer founded TinySourcing. His mission was simple: to offer the same level of professional supply chain management enjoyed by Fortune 500 companies to startups and growing businesses.
